About Me

My  name  is  Dawid  Zydorek  and  I’m  a  photographer  and  high  end  photo  retoucher,  that  specialises  in  Wedding  photography.

I  was  born  in  Poland,  but  I  am  currently  living  and  working  in  Ireland.  Back  in  Poland,  I  studied  philosophy  at  Silesia  University.  After  graduating,  I  worked  in  many  places,  doing  many  jobs,  but  photography  has  always  been  my  passion.

When  I  came  to  Ireland,  I  became  determined  to  develop  my  photographic  skills  and  I  got  a  job  at  an  architectural  practice  as  a  photographer.  I  gained  some  valuable  experience  in  the  area  of  architectural  photography,  digital  retouching,  preparation  of  photomontages  and  restoration  of  old  photographs.

Four  years  ago,  I  was  drawn  into  Wedding  Photography  and  immediately  felt  it  is  probably  the  most  rewarding  kind  of  photography,  I  had  done  so  far.  It  enables  me  as  a  photographer  to  become  part  of  the  Bride  and  Groom’s  special  day,  and  gives  me  the  knowledge,  that  my  photos  are  going  to  be  with  them  forever.

Quite  soon  my  work  began  to  be  recognised,  and  I  have  become  a  member  of  the  very  prestigious,  International  Society  of  Professional  Wedding  Photographers  I S P W P.

My  goal  with  Wedding  Photography,  is  to  capture  the  spirit,  and  the  emotion  of  the  day,  while  maintaining  reportage-style  photography,  so  that  the  Bride  and  Groom  will  always  be  able  to  transport  themselves  back  to  their  special  day.
In  my  work,  I  try  to  combine  the  use  of  classic,  black  and  white  reportage-style  photography,  with  the  use  of  high  standard  colour  photographs.
